What is netiquette?Netiquette (net + etiquette) is the code of conduct applied to online. This code is dictated by common sense rules (manners) and social conventions. Teaching students about netiquette is just as important as teaching them to use technology in their learning.
Netiquette 101 · Treat people with respect online · Don't post anything that you wouldn’t be willing to communicate face to face. · Do not use offensive language. · Never make fun of someone’s ability to read or write. · Use simple English. · Use correct spelling and grammar. · Think before you push the “Send” button · Don't type in ALL CAPS!
